To facilitate those, welding techniques are done like manual electric welding, submerged arc welding, and inert gas welding. The tests done on it is toughness test, mechanical test, chemical composition test, pitting corrosion test, radiography test, hydrostatic test, macro-micro test, flare-flattening test and so on.
