What is S355J2+N Structural grade steel?

This Steel Plates are made up of carbon, silicon, manganese, sulfur, phosphorus and copper in their composition S355 J2+N Steel Plates is a welder – friendly, high tensile strength structural steel with low carbon content. The material has good cold forming properties and can be machined and welded with ease. The EN 10025 S355J2+N High Tensile Steel Plates have up to 630MPa minimum tensile strength and up to 355MPa minimum yield strength. This makes them suitable for the storage tanks and containers due to the high stress tolerance as well. The EN 10025 S355J2 N Offshore structure Plates are used in the offshore oil and gas industries.

The impact values are also high for these plates and it is useful for storage containers and tanks. The width ranges from 1000mm to 4500mm and the thickness ranges from 5mm to 150mm.
